YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP
MotorSport Bay of Plenty is proud to announce the first Youth Scholarship programme.
This is an initiative designed to encourage young, grass roots enthusiasts, who are passionate about motorsport, and wish to progress through the motorsport disciplines. It is the next stepping stone from the Junior competition which is supported by Uppercrust Bakery Motorsport, but is open to all members who are eligible to apply.
The Scholarship is designed to help the recipeitn to grow, not just as a competitor, but also as a mentor, supporter and leader.
The Scholarship will be available to both drivers and co-drivers, and will have a value of up to $5000. This is made possible by the contributions of Rally Bay of Plenty Inc and other key sponsors.
The Scholarship has criteria which must be met, which are outlined in the application documents. These documents also explain the requirements of both the Club and the applicant.
Each year, at the Annual General Meeting, the successful candidate, should there be one, will be announced, with the first candidate to be announced at the AGM in 2026.
